Pre-Operation Inspection

Whole Vehicle Check

Inspect tires, pressure, wheel bolts, leaf springs, frame
Check dump body, hydraulic cylinder, hoses for damage or leakage
Verify tailgate lock is secure and functional

Fluid Level Check

Engine oil
Coolant
Diesel fuel
Hydraulic oil
Brake fluid

Air Brake System

Air pressure must reach 8–10 bar
No air leakage
Test service brake and parking brake

Cab & Electrical System

Check lights, wipers, instruments, turn signals
Ensure hydraulic control lever is in NEUTRAL
Adjust seat, mirrors, and fasten seat belt

Engine Start & Warm-up

1.Gear in neutral, parking brake ON

2.Fully depress clutch, start engine

3.Idle for 3–5 minutes to warm up

4.Check gauges:

Oil pressure normal
Air pressure nrmal
Water temperature nrmal

5.Do not drive if warning lights remain on

Driving Operation

Gear Shifting

Fully depress the clutch pedal before shifting gears on the Delong X3000 dump truck.
Shift at 1200–1500 RPM
Use low gears when loaded or climbing hills

Braking

Use exhaust brake on long downhill to avoid brake overheating
Maintain safe distance; loaded truck needs longer braking distance

Driving Safety

Avoid sharp turns and sudden acceleration/braking
Do not overload
Follow speed limits and traffic regulations

Dump Body Operation (Lifting & Lowering)

Before Dumping

Park on flat, firm ground
Engage parking brake, shift to neutral
Keep people away from the truck
Unlock the tailgate

Lifting the Body

1. Depress clutch → turn on PTO → select 1st or 2nd gear
2. Move hydraulic control lever to UP
3. Keep engine speed at 1000–1500 RPM
4. After unloading, set lever to NEUTRAL

Lowering the Body

1. Move lever to DOWN
2. Wait until body is fully lowered and seated
3. Return lever to NEUTRAL
4. Turn off PTO, shift to neutral
5. Lock tailgate before driving
