The mixing unit consists primarily of the mixing drum and its supporting components. The mixing drum serves as the container for the concrete; as it rotates, the concrete moves along the helical path of the internal blades, undergoing continuous lifting and tumbling, which ensures thorough mixing. During loading and transport, the drum rotates in the forward direction, moving the concrete inward along the blades; during discharge, the drum reverses rotation, moving the concrete outward for unloading.

The blades are key components of the mixing unit; damage or severe wear can result in uneven concrete mixing. Additionally, improper blade angles can lead to concrete segregation.

Cleaning System
The primary function of the cleaning system is to wash the mixing drum; it is also sometimes used to mix dry materials within the drum during transport. The system also helps cool the hydraulic system.

Sealing System
The fully enclosed system utilizes rotary sealing technology to seal the loading and discharge openings of the mixer truck. This resolves various issues associated with traditional mixer trucks, such as moisture evaporation, mortar stratification, concrete spillage, and safety hazards during operation.
