Pre-operation Inspection
Vehicle Appearance
- Check tires, tire pressure, wheel nuts, leaf springs, frame.
- Check carg bdy, hydraulic cylinder, il pipes fr damage r leakage.
- Check tailgate lck and rear lights.

Air Brake System
- Air pressure must reach 8–10 bar
- N air leakage
- Test ft brake and parking brake

Cab & Electrical
- Check lights, wipers, instruments, turn signals.
- Hydraulic cntrl lever must be in NEUTRAL.

Engine Start & Warm-up
2.Press clutch fully, start engine.
3.Idle for 3–5 minutes to warm up.
4.Check gauges: oil pressure, air pressure, water temperature must be normal.
5.Do not drive if warning lights stay on.
Driving Operation
Gear Shifting
- Fully depress clutch before shifting.
- Shift gears at 1200–1500 RPM.
- Use low gears when loaded or climbing hills
Braking
- Use exhaust brake on long downhill to prevent brake overheating.
- Keep safe distance; loaded truck needs longer braking distance.
Driving Safety
- Avoid sharp turns and sudden acceleration.
- Do not overload.
- Follow speed limits and traffic rules.
Dumping Operation (Lifting & Lowering)
Before Dumping
- Park on flat, solid ground.
- Engage parking brake, put gear in neutral.
- Keep people away from the truck.
- Unlock the tailgate.
Lifting the Body
- Press clutch → turn on PTO → put into 1st or 2nd gear.
- Move hydraulic lever to UP.
- For the HOWO 8×4 dump truck, maintain the engine speed between 1,000 and 1,500 rpm.
- After unloading, set lever to NEUTRAL.
Lowering the Body
- Move lever to DOWN.
- Wait until body is fully lowered and seated.
- Return lever to NEUTRAL.
- Turn off PTO, shift to neutral.
- Lock the tailgate before driving.
Important Safety Rules
- NEVER drive with the body raised.
- DO NOT stand under the raised body.
- Do not lift if materials are stuck.
After Operation
Park on flat ground, turn off engine.

Clean cargo body, lights, and mirrors.

Check for oil leakage, loose bolts, damage.

Record any abnormal noise or problems.

Maintain vehicle regularly.

Daily Maintenance
- Change engine oil and filters regularly.
- Keep hydraulic oil clean.
- Check air system and brakes frequently.
- Tighten chassis and wheel bolts.
- Keep tires in good condition.
