Check tire pressure monthly at ambient temperature; if it falls below the standard, inflate the tires promptly. Pressure should be neither too high nor too low, as this affects driving safety. Inspect tires for cracking; replace them immediately if safety risks are detected. Ensure all tires used are of the same specifications.
Battery Maintenance and Inspection
Check that the battery is securely mounted. The electrolyte level should be between the upper and lower limits; if it approaches the lower limit, promptly add electrolyte or distilled water to the upper mark. Ensure good contact for the positive and negative battery cables, and keep the battery clean and dry. For vehicles parked for extended periods, disconnect the positive and negative cables; reconnect them roughly every two weeks to start the engine for about 20 minutes, and charge the battery promptly if the power level is noticeably low.
Clutch Master Cylinder Fluid Level Inspection
A clutch fluid level between the high and low marks is normal; if it falls below the standard line, the master or slave cylinder seals may be damaged. Difficulty shifting gears or an inability to shift while the engine is running indicates a problem; visit a nearby service center immediately for inspection.
Brake Fluid Level Inspection
A brake fluid level between the high and low marks is normal. If the level approaches or falls below the lower limit, it may indicate a system leak or excessive brake shoe wear; visit a service center promptly for inspection. When topping up brake fluid, ensure you use the same type to avoid damaging seals, and take care to protect the vehicle's paintwork from corrosion.
Engine Coolant Level Inspection
Never open the radiator cap while the engine is hot, as splashing coolant or high-temperature steam could cause burns. Wait for the engine to cool, then check that the coolant level is between the "Full" and "Low" marks; if necessary, add distilled water, purified water, or antifreeze, ensuring the level does not exceed the "Full" mark after filling. If the coolant level drops rapidly over a short period, check the cooling system for leaks or visit a service center for inspection.
