1. Do not suddenly push the lift control lever to the "lower" position while the vehicle is fully loaded and mid-lift.
If this error occurs, the sudden descent of the cargo bed exerts massive impact force on the chassis and can even lead to accidents. Therefore, avoid this action whenever possible; if special circumstances require it, operate with extreme caution, minimize the descent speed, and strictly avoid letting the cargo bed drop abruptly to the bottom.
2. Do not attempt to unload by suddenly jerking the vehicle forward and braking hard.
The inertial forces generated by such maneuvers (typically 5 to 20 times the rated lifting capacity) can easily cause permanent chassis deformation, weld failures between the cargo bed and sub-frame, oil pump burnout, seal or hydraulic cylinder damage, and reduced vehicle lifespan; in severe cases, the vehicle may even overturn. Consequently, driving while the dump bed is raised is generally prohibited.
3. The Power Take-Off (PTO) must be disengaged after unloading before the vehicle is driven.
If this step is missed, the PTO remains "engaged" while driving, causing the hydraulic lift pump to run at high speed without load in a "short-circuit" (recirculation) loop. This rapidly raises the hydraulic oil temperature, easily damaging the pump's oil seal or even causing the pump to seize ("burn out"). More seriously, an active PTO means the hydraulic system remains powered, creating a risk that the cargo bed could rise automatically while the vehicle is in motion.
4. The PTO must not be left in the "engaged" position while driving.
If left engaged (indicated by a red light), the oil pump continues to rotate and the hydraulic system remains powered; accidental operation of the pneumatic control valve could then cause the cargo bed to lift automatically. Furthermore, if the pneumatic distribution valve is set to "lower" while the pump is still running, oil is forced into the pump, which can cause it to burn out.
